He is survived by: his wife Barbara Wolfson Tuerkheimer; his children, Deborah Tuerkheimer (Dylan Smith) and Alan Tuerkheimer (Lisa Weiss); and his grandchildren, Max Tuerkheimer Smith, Leo Tuerkheimer Smith, Jacob Tuerkheimer and Elizabeth Tuerkheimer (Lizzy).
