It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances E. McKenzie of Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 21, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Wilcox and Agatha Wilcox (Dederich); her husband David G. McKenzie; and her siblings, Elwynn, Paul, Jeannine McCann, Rosemary Landin and Karen Wilcox.
She is survived by: her children, Jayne Schwartz, Lisa Abbott, Stephen McKenzie (Theresa), Jean Mancheski (Dean) and Teresa McKenzie (Marion Morgan); her nephew Michael Landin; her sister Sharon Burns (Mike); her grandchildren, Gary, Christine, Paul, David and Joseph; and her great grandchild Keeley.
The Empty Stocking Club was a favorite charity of Frances' as her family was extremely poor and for many years that toy was the only thing she received for Christmas. If you would care to donate in her name, by mail or online, the information is below.
