Esther Elizabeth Kretschmar Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Elizabeth Kretschmar in Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Esther leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Kretschmar and Bertha Kretschmar (Homeyer); and her siblings, Dr. Paul Kretschmar and Elinor Wenzel (Kretschmar). She is survived by: her daughters, Kristen (John Fitzpatrick) and Paula Wittmayer (Eric Eberhardt); and her grandchildren, Molly, Kathleen Fitzpatrick, Allison and Thomas Eberhardt.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Oakwood Village East (5565 Tancho Dr, Madison, WI 53718).
