It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Adams Moore of Madison, Wisconsin, born in Mason, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 7, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Moore and Stella Moore (Adams); her son Louis Colescott; her sisters, Alice Anne Blackmore and Carol Smith; and her nephew Shawn Smith.

She is survived by: her spouse Warrington Colescott; her children, Julian Colescott (Kristin Kopplin) and Lydia Scott; and her daughter-in-law Nell Hansen. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren and her dance family.
