She was predeceased by: her parents, John McGilligan and Ruth McGilligan (Hommerstad); her husband James "Jim" E. Stevens; and her sister Patricia Gavigan (Robert). She is survived by: her sons, Brad Stevens (Susan) and Chris Stevens; and her grandchildren, John, Bryn, Brenna, Olivia and Camden.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
