She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Halderson and Josephine Halderson. She is survived by: her husband Charles Schmikla; her children, Steve Schmikla (Debbie), Mary Ploessl (Ken) and Barb Knott (Jack); and her grandchildren, Stephanie Schreiner (Zach), Brian Ploessl (Brooke), Christopher Ploessl (Marcela), Kirstin Tarlock (Rob), Krystle Clark (Daniel) and Kendra Reineke (Alex).
