He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Sorensen and Margaret Sorensen (Scheurmann); and his brother Richard Sorensen. He is survived by: his grandchild Colo; his wife Laura Sorensen; his children, Wendy Hunter and Ryan Sorensen (Nicole); his stepchildren, Brandon Siewert and Ashton Staple (Phillip); his grandchildren, Sam, Sawyer, Lofton, Preston, Evie, Vinnie and Alex; and his sisters, Kathy Schulz, Diane Sorensen (Dan Stier) and Teresa Sorensen (Minn). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and two great-great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the LBDA (Lewy Body Dementia Association) or ADPA (American Parkinson Disease Association).
