With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy J. Schreck of Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 2, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Gallagher and Ferne Gallagher (Wills); her daughter Kelly Jean; her in-laws, Douglas and Hazel Schreck; and her brothers-in-law, Bernie Schreck, Chuck Foley and Lady Gray.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Schreck of Madison, WI; her children, Michael Schreck (Jamie), Cammie Schreck (David Ringoen) of Madison, WI and Gus; her grandchildren, Jennifer Wright of Hawley, TX and Jenni Weiland (Josh) of Petosi, WI; her great grandchildren, Macie Baker (Devin), Ravin Wright, Gage Wright, Sylas Stevens and Jurnee Gerber; her great great grandchild Weston Baker; her siblings, William Gallagher (Suzanne) and Ruth Sturtevant (Jim) of Freeport, IL; and her sisters-in-law, Diane Foley and Linda Lowery of Chehalis, WA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Donations made in lieu of flowers will be used to honor Dorothy's favorite causes.
