It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Debra Ellen Butenhoff of Madison, Wisconsin, born in Berlin, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 25, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Braun and Dorothy Braun; her brother David Braun; and her niece Marcia Bruns. She is survived by: her husband Craig Butenhoff; her sister Diane Voeltner; her children, Nik Butenhoff (Sarah) of Rockford and Trevor Butenhoff of Portland, Oregon.; and her grandchildren, Bradley, Jonathan and Norah Butenhoff. She is also survived by her family so when she became a mother.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in Deb's honor to either the Madison Public Library (mplfoundation.org/donate) or Olbrich Botanical Gardens (olbrich.org/donate).
