He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Bernadine (Spears). He is survived by: his wife Karen Leahy; his sons, Dave Jr. (Sandy) and Eric (Stacey); and his grandchildren, James, Samantha (Calvin) and Stace.
A committal service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (2705 Regent St, Madison, WI 53705).
