It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darlene M. Schmelzer of Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 14, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Harris and Margaret Fine (Anderson); and her husband Robert Schmelzer. She is survived by: her children, Norman Schmelzer (Diane), Christine Bavery (Richard), Gary Schmelzer, Tena Borgrud (Dan) and Keea Sainsbury (Dan). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
