We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2024, at the age of 85, Charlotte Stone Carey (Madison, Wisconsin), born in Lead, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin R. Stone, Jr. and Veronica Clark Stone; her husband Gerard Carey; and her siblings, Benjamin R. Stone III and Sue Stone.
She is survived by: her son William Arthur; her daughter-in-law Mary Myers; her brother William J. Stone (Lead); and her sister-in-law Mary Pat Stone. She is also survived by four nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Bernard Catholic Church, Madison, Wis., Cottey College Scholarship Fund, 1000 W. Austin Blvd., Nevada, Mo., or a charity of your choice.
