He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Scott and Elizabeth Flanagan Scott; and his siblings, Patricia Bielecky and Walter Scott (Anne). He is survived by: his wife Anne Mulgrew; his children, Robert, Michael, Lisabeth and Sheila; his granddaughter Hannah; his adoptive son Rev. Paul Ugo Arinze; and his sister Virginia McGurgan (John).
