She was predeceased by: her parents, George H. Goethals and Frances R. Goethals; her husband Richard Walter; and her siblings, Joyce Green and Phillip Goethals.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Walter, Susan Walter Walton (Jeff Walton) and Matthew Walter (Bynum Parsons Walter); and her grandsons, Nick Walton and Zack Walton (Hannah Simpson Walton).
