With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Ann McClatchey of Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 17, 2025 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bryon Knipfer and Theresa Knipfer (Cole); and her brothers, Ronnie Knipfer and Delmer Knipfer. She is survived by: her husband Meade "Mac" McClatchey; her children, Dan O'Shaughnessy (Liesa), Mike O'Shaughnessy (Denise), Brett Henes (Kim), Keeley O'Shaughnessy, Shannon (Robert), Hanson (O' Shaughnessy) and Paige Kullman (John); her stepchildren, Steve McClatchey and Shannon Welgren; and her siblings, Linda Gibson (Rick) and Lee Knipfer. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends, plus numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Gunderson East Funeral & Cremation Care (5203 Monona Dr, Monona, WI 53716).
