She was predeceased by: her parents, Berger and Ella; her former husband Donald Hammen; her husband Bill Kreisler; her siblings, Raynard (Helen), Kenneth, Emma (Bill), Mildred (Clinton) and Mary (Richard); and her stepchildren, Bob, Freddy, Mildred, Sandra and Carol.
She is survived by: her sons, James Hammen, Michael Hammen, Donald Hammen (Adrienne Morgan) and Doug Hammen (Stacey); her stepson Michael; her grandchildren, Taylor Davis (Joseph) and Morgan Hammen (Petra); her great grandchildren, JJ Davis, Malia Davis, Elisse Hammen and Madeleine Hammen; and her sister Sue Hepp. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be gifted in Bernice's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
