It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alan Roy Gruendemann of Madison, Wisconsin, born in Algoma, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Gruendemann and Ruth Gruendemann (Fluck); his siblings, Marene Gruendemann and Paul Gruendemann; and his former wife Joanne Gruendemann (LeCloux).

He is survived by: his wife Cindy (Curran); his children, Luke Gruendemann and Tracy Gruendemann; his children-in-law, Kristin Williams (Todd) and David Jensen; his sister Carol Katz; his sister-in-law Kathleen Olson; and his grandson Justin Waddington.
