He was predeceased by: his wife Tammy; his parents, Carlton Basten and Viola Basten (Le Coque); his sister Janice; his uncle Art Nero; and also Berniece.
He is survived by: his sons, Todd Fischer (Amy), Craig Heuer (Marsha) and Richard Marks (Leslie); his sister Roxanne Vincent (Richard); and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Cavil, Gwenn Tremble (David) and David Ellis (Becky). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and grand-children.
