He is survived by: his wife Juanita Maynez; his stepchildren, Magdalena, Rudy (Hilda), Ray (Tammi), Mona, Reynaldo (Marcus) and Randy (Emily); and his nephew Javier Avila Rios. He is also survived by many step great grandchildren and a step great great grandchild.
