Catherine Schmalfeldt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Schmalfeldt of Lyons, Wisconsin, born in Hinsdale, Illinois, who passed away on May 26, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Trimner and Catherine Hildur Trimner (Morine); her husband Louis Schmalfeldt; her grandson Joshua Schmalfeldt; her siblings, Harold "Snook" Trimner (Pat) and Lois Durkee (Red); her brother-in-law Ray Clark; and her nephews, Scott Trimner and Steve Trimner.
She is survived by: her aunt Myrtle "Mertz" Cheski; her sons, Gregory Schmalfeldt (Margaret), Jeffrey Schmalfeldt (Michelle), Todd Schmalfeldt (Valinda) and David Schmalfeldt (Tiffany Cramer); her grandchildren, Jacob (Elizabeth), Justin (Heather Ledbury), Jordan (Sarah Kaszuba), Makeil, Logan (Jessica Smith), Nolan, Nathan, Claudia, Carson and Craig; her great grandchildren, Liam, Finley and Hunter; and her sister Pat Clark. She is also survived by four sons.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Katie's name to the Walworth County Poultry Project, which she held near and dear to her heart; 1358 Brook Rd., Burlington, WI 53105.
