He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Spude and Martha Spude (Grovogel); his brother Eugene; his stepparents, Harry and Blanche Jeanquart; his son Todd; his grandson Spencer Spude; and his great grandchild Levi Spude.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Marie Engebose; his children, Tammy LeBotte (Mark), Tim Spude (Mary), Gerry Spude (Lisa), Joe Spude (Marci), Julie Thiry (Tom) and Jennifer Karsten (Charles); his daughter-in-law Jane Anderson (Matt); his siblings, Regina Simon, Janet Bouche, Albert Spude and Donald Spude (Angela); and his parents-in-law, Milton, Sharon Engebose, Patsy, Lloyd Everard, Nancy Hawkins, Brenda and Kiko Torres. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
