He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer H. Prahl and Erna B. Prahl (Dahlke); his brother Merlin Prahl (Linda); and his stepson Dale Delaruelle. He is survived by: his former wife Sherri Lee Mattox; his wife Diane G. Symons; his son John Prahl; his stepchildren, Roger Delaruelle (Peggy), Nancy Delaruelle, Bruce Delaruelle, Robin Delaruelle, Tad Delaruelle (Marge) and Greg Delaruelle (Danny); and his nieces and nephews, Jody Prahl, Danny Kratz (Kathy), David Prahl and Danny Prahl.
