He was predeceased by: his parents, Elton Karnopp and Vernis Karnopp-Kudick (Gaedtke); his parents-in-law, Clifford and Ruth Shilbauer; his brother Merle Karnopp; his siblings-in-law, Adrian Pivonka, Lee Shilbauer and Bell Shilbauer; and his nephew Richard Pivonka.
He is survived by: his wife Shelley A. Shilbauer; his children, Chalsee Karnopp, Green Bay and Jacob Karnopp; his extended family, Brett Boehm, Lindsay and Dave; his brothers, Nolan Karnopp (June), Arlin Karnopp (Mary Lou) and Niel Karnopp (Brenda); his siblings-in-law, Gay Pivonka of Green Bay, Sandy Minger of Green Bay and William Shilbauer; and his close friends, Brittany (Jeremiah), Tyler (Brittni) and Melissa (James). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established.
