He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Merrill and Maggie Merrill; his son Joseph Colton; and his siblings, Anabelle, Milo, Clifford, Jumbo, Nancy, Millie, Mable, Dora and James.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Merrill; his children, Claretta, Amanda, Danielle, David, Nicole, Josh and Jacob; and his siblings, Donna Merrill, Jeanie Dumire and Rick Kagigebi.
