He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Kastens and Pearl Kastens (Rudd); his son Danny Kastens; and his siblings, Ida Mesecher, Louis Kastens, Evelyn Kastens, Hazel Johnson, Delores Kastens, Marcella Howard, Wendell Kastens and Lois Pearson.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Kastens; his children, Scott Kastens, Sandra Swanson (Scott Berry), Trisha Johnson (Wayne), Chyleen Johnson (Bruce), Cole Denver (Katie) and Shawn Denver (Brittany); and his sister Dorothy Heichel. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family members, and friends.
