He was predeceased by: his mother Delores; and his sister Mary Kautzer. He is survived by: his wife Lacii of Loyal; his sons, Luke W. Landini of Loyal, Evan M. Kautzer of Loyal, Adam J. Kautzer of Loyal and David G. Kautzer of Loyal; his father David J. Kautzer of Loyal; his siblings, Kevin (Kelly) of Newton, IA, Brien of Benton, LA, Allen of Apopka, FL, Martin (Stacia) of Oronoco, MN, Jason of Loyal and Linette Guenther (James) of Loyal; his godparents, Arnold Wolf and Laurette Gleisner; his mother-in-law Selena Butzin; his siblings-in-law, Tobii Ives (Chuck), Glenn Butzin (Jill), Benji Butzin (Dawn), Russel Butzin (Sarah), Nicholas Butzin (Xuan) and Paxton Butzin (Crystal); and his godchild Ellie Butzin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousin, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family set up a fund to cover medical expenses and education for the four boys at Citizen State Bank in Loyal.
