Joyce V. Gasik Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce V. Gasik (Loyal, Wisconsin), born in Blue Island, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 20, 2024 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norwood Schwartz and Lois Schwartz (Richardson); her husband Edward John Gasik; and her siblings, Gail Schwartz and Marjorie Watson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lois Schwieso (Brian) of Killeen, TX and Christine Gregorich (Paul Susa) of Greenwood, WI.; her sister Norma Platner of Portage, MI; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Buege (Ryan), Breanna Schwieso, Taylor Gregorich (Ethan Schultze) and Tyler Gregorich.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery Fund for beautification and upkeep of the parish cemetery.
