She is survived by: her husband Lowell Kappers; her children, Sharon Kappers of Coppell, TX, Kevin Kappers of Oostburg and Wendell Kappers (Elaine) of Oostburg; her grandchildren, Joshua Kappers (Jessie), Taylor Kappers (Codie Keller), Allison Otte (Bradyn) and Alex Kappers; her great grandchildren, Josh, Bradlie and Ellis; her sister Janet Sand; and her siblings-in-law, Virgil Mullikin (Marion) and Dianne Stokdyk. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
