He was predeceased by: his parents, William Halverson and Georgian Halverson. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Halverson of Lone Rock; and his children, Terry Halverson of Madison, John Halverson (Wendy) of Lone Rock, Tammy Shoaf, Dennis Halverson (Pedenna) of Howard and Tom Halverson (Dawn) of Lone Rock. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 9 siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
