He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Goebel and Minnie Goebel (Roehs); his wife Lillie; his daughter Lorna Schwanz; his son-in-law Carwin Schwanz; and his siblings, Earl (Minnie), Caroline Hudecek (Clyde), Paul (Alice), Myrtle Dragoo (Leland), Art (Irene), Lillie Tuma (Louis) and Luther (Berniece).
He is survived by: his children, Verda Moore (Raymond), Larry Goebel and Michael Goebel (Michelle); and his grandchildren, Neal Moore (Amy), Kevin Moore, Tracy Guinther (Mike), Dale Schwanz (Sally Lee), Aaron Schwanz, Jason Schwanz, Brian Goebel (Susan), David Goebel (Cassandra Bower), Amanda Goebel and Zachary Goebel (Chelsey Driessen). He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; other relatives, and friends.
