He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemens Meixelsperger and Clara Meixelsperger (Ruhland); his former wife Helen; his son Jeff Meixelsperger; his siblings, Chris, Harold, Delbert, Duane Meixelsperger and Dorothy Alt; and his brothers-in-law, Ralph Bindl, Freddie Van Aker and Cletus Alt.

He is survived by: his wife Adela; his daughters, Nancy Gavin (Jay), Kim Jorgensen (Andrew) and Kathy Zweifel; his stepdaughters, Julieta Campbell, Belen Lindner and Evelyn Grigsby; and his siblings, Evalyn Bindl and Kenneth Meixelsperger (Heidi). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
