He was predeceased by: his parents, Delores Wentland (Riner) and Wallace Wentland; and his sister Betty Wentland. He is survived by: his wife Bernadette; his children, Jeremy and Regina; his son-in-law James Ewers; his siblings, Lillian Sabatini (Wentland) and Robert Wentland; his sister-in-law Marsha Wentland; and his grandchildren, Amy Russell, Hannah Novy, Brittany, Amber Morrison, Audrianna Novy, Sabrie Brunner and Lakoda Brunner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
