She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert "Bob" Bowen and Isolde "Sue" Bowen (Kaiser); her husband Alan Dreikosen of Mary's Catholic Church; her children, Sarah Dreikosen-Kort (Bill) and Lee Dreikosen (Stacy); her grandchildren, Emily, Alaina, Blake, Genevieve and Gilbert; her siblings, Mary Tank and Jim Bowen (Susanne); her brother-in-law John Dreikosen (Gail); her son Karl Dreikosen; her sister Nancy Hansen; her in-laws, Marv Dreikosen, Betty and Jerry Norenberg; and her niece Jamie Dreikosen.
In keeping with Sandy's loving and generous spirit, it was her decision to donate life so that others may live.
