He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hoefs and Helen Hoefs; his wife Janice Haefs; his father-in-law William Heuer (Dolores); his sister Janice; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Rettmann and Donald Bryfczynski.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Haefs (Monica), Sherrill Haefs, Kevin Haefs (Lynn), Scott Haefs (Kelly) and Randy Haefs; his grandchildren, Shannon Zahn (Ryan), Leigh Ramczyk (Rick), Jill Shultis (Nick), Erik Haefs (Beckie), Kurtis Haefs (Taylor), Joshua Haefs (Colleen), Carisa Thompson (Chris), Benjamin Haefs and Nicole Haefs; his brother Jerry Hoefs (Karen); and his sister-in-law Sharon Bryfczynski. He is also survived by 16 great -grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts will be donated to Trinity United Methodist Church, Lomira.
