He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Mezera and Alta Mezera; his parents-in-law, Milton and Caroline Hatzung; his siblings, Lillian Mezera and Larry Mezera; and his sisters-in-law, Katie and Sonya Mezera.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hatzung; his sons, Mark (Lisa) and Greg; his grandchildren, Brandon Yahr (Mandy), Eric Yahr (Amy), Noah, Becca and Sarah Mezera; his great grandchildren, Hailyn, Phenix Yahr, Connor and Dylan Yahr; his siblings, Arnold (Kathy), David (Maggie), Mike (Judi), Tom, Linda Plautz (Leroy) and Sue Giese; and his brother-in-law Gerald Hatzung (Karen). He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
