She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Emmer and Adela Emmer; her husband Marvin Zehren; her siblings, Elizabeth Emmer, Marion Theisen (Arthur), Rosalyn Westerman, Clarence Emmer (Gertrude), Roman Emmer (Florence), Wilmer Emmer (Mae) and Robert Emmer; and her sister-in-law Frances Emmer.
She is survived by: her sons, John Zehren (Joanne) and Mark Zehren; her grandsons, Jacob Zehren (Taylor) and Nicholas Zehren; her great grandchild Colette Zehren; her siblings, Edward Emmer, Jr. and Valeria Becker (Jim); and her siblings-in-law, Rosalie Emmer and Lloyd Westerman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Kathleen "Kate" Helen Gunderson formerly Zehren (nee Emmer), age 84 years, of Lomira found peace on June 7, 2018 at Kettle Moraine Gardens after her battle with Alzheimer's.
