He was predeceased by: his wife Ligia "Lilly" Ortega of Mary's Catholic Church; his siblings, Mary Ellen Gindt, Dolores Kraus, Barnabas, Norman and Rodney Gindt; and his siblings-in-law, Marina Manouseles (George) of Anaheim, California, Ernie Kraus of Fond du Lac, Michel Masse and Lyle Scollon of California.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Gindt (Joannie Grosenick) of Richfield, Brenda Gindt O'Brien (Jim) of Dallas Texas, Tony Gindt (Joanne) of Germantown and Brian Gindt (Sharon) of Wellston, Oklahoma.; his granddaughters, Melissa Gindt (Corey Loosen) and Elizabeth Smith (Lucas); his great grandchildren, Baileigh, Crimson and Eleanor Smith; his sisters-in-law, Kathleen Gindt of Lomira, Socorro Masse of Woodland Hills and Meylin Scollon of Rancho Cucamonga; and also, Jacob (Rachel), Allison Grosenick, Emalin and Sophie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Sisters of St. Agnes Retirement Fund, St. Mary's Building Maintenance Fund or Mass stipends.
