It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Bucklen of Lomira, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 25, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Bucklen and Hildur Bucklen L'Allier; his wife Graci; his son Chris Bucklen; his sister Norma LaPlante; and his brother-in-law Pete Pavich.
He is survived by: his stepfather Al L'Allier; his friend Bob Dylan; his children, Amy Polinske (Beau), Jennifer Gilgenbach (Todd) and Ben Bucklen; his grandchildren, Jaidyn DeGroot (Dakota), Madalyn, Cooper Gilgenbach, Vinetta and Casper Polinske; his sister Ruth Pavich; and his siblings-in-law, Mickey Grantman (Beth) and Patricia Chastain. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service (350 Main St, Lomira, WI 53048). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
