He was predeceased by: his parents, John Strizek and Dorothy Strizek (Bastian); and his siblings, Adrienne Fillmore and Gene Strizek. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Johns; his son Thom Strizek (Shanette); his grandchildren, Jack and Wendie; his brother John "Jack" Strizek; his nieces, Lisa Horton (Richard) and Amber Loberger; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Carissa and Brady; his niece Amy Peters (Dan); his great-niece Olivia; his great-nephews, James and Lucas; his niece Lauren Powell (James); his nephew Andrew Luther (Traci); his great-niece Amanda Johnson (Erik); his great-nephew Shane Luther (Christina); his siblings-in-law, Thomas L. Johns (Nicholas P. Duranko), Theresa Strizek and Deborah Johns; and his niece Heather Snipes Jr. (Harris). He is also survived by three daughters.
