He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar and Mary; his brothers-in-law, Dick Falk and Joel Luedtke; his niece Tracy Flitter; and his nephew Tony Feucht.
He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth Garriety; his children, Tina, Patrick "Pat" Garriety (Kris), Michael Garriety (Linda), Timothy "Tim" Garriety (Angie) and Darcie Heberer (Rick); his grandchildren, Scott Mueller (Natasha), Lee Mueller (Emma), Brittany Merk (Michael), Kelly Mueller, Jenna Garriety (Max Larsen), Erin Garriety (Bryce Bannach), Becka Garriety (Eric Fritsch), Mitchell Garriety, Tyler Garriety (Cassie Newcomer), Camryn Garriety, McKenna, Ben, Eli Jo, Katie Garriety, Zachary, Jacob and Nathan Heberer; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Vaeda, Dekker, Jaxon, Ivy, Millie and Oliver; his sisters, Janet Falk and Kathleen Luedtke; and his aunt Cyrena Sterr. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends.
