He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Collien and Genevieve Collien (Jaber); his wife Linda Jean Samp; his sister Jilliane Krudwig; and his grandson Brennan Wegener.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Collien (Lisa), Julie Scharschmidt (Robert) and Jodi Batzler (Michael Jr.); his grandchildren, Ashley Schmitz (Eric), Brooke Straks (Derrick), Jaden Collien, Sydney Scharschmidt, Nicholas Scharschmidt, Allison Batzler, Nathan Batzler and Griffin Batzler; his great grandchildren, Kailey Wegener, Leighton Schmitz, Kendyl Schmitz, Reid Schmitz, Rielyn Straks, Emerie Straks, Landon Wegener and Isaiah Wegener; his sisters, Karen Kay Schoepke and Jacqueline Henke (Charles); his brother-in-law Richard Krudwig; and his half-brother Michael Collien (Kathy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
