He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Otto and Gertrude Otto; and his wife Dorothy Roehl. He is survived by: his children, James "Yo" Newman, Thomas "Hap" Newman (Chris) and Pamela Newman; his grandchildren, Johnathan Hintz (Michelle), James Hintz (Carol), Jacqueline Martinez (Chris) and Lorraine Young; and his cousins, Hella and Barbara. He is also survived by many great grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren.
