He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Thieding and Agnes Thieding (Schenck); his wife Roberta Licht of Peter's Lutheran Church; his in-laws, Willard and Adeline Licht; his sister-in-law Sharon Thieding; and his cousins, Dale Thieding and Marietta Thieding-Zonge.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Schulenberg (Greg) of Pittsboro, IN, Todd Thieding of Loganville and Sara Zinck (Leon) of Dane; his grandchildren, Nick, Megan Schulenberg, Eli and Callie Zinck; his brothers, Ernie of McFarland and Roy (Annetta) of Colwich, KS; and his sisters-in-law, Marie Bryan of Kanarraville, UT, Jan Towne (Dave) of Mount Pleasant, IA and Terri Tomaszewski (Rob) of Rhinelander. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers and trees, memorials to Agrace Foundation, Zion Lutheran Cemetery Association or the Farmer Angel Network are encouraged.
