He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Burmester and Emma Burmester; his wife Alyce Janet Jones; his siblings, Donald, David and Jeanne; his son-in-law Bruce Stafford; his grandson Nathaniel Burmester; and his great grandchild Ayden Stafford.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Burmester (Terri) of Cedarburg, Mary Rodewald (Greg) of Beaver Dam, Lynn Drake (David) of Beaver Dam, Lori Stafford of Beaver Dam, David Burmester of Beaver Dam, Paul Burmester of Beaver Dam and Jenifer Ludwiczak (Michael) of Wisconsin Rapids. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
