He is survived by: his former wife Mary Hochstein; his wife Mary Prem of Loganville; his son Joseph Prem (Marjorie) of Loganville; his grandsons, Eric (Lorelei) and Brian Prem (Kari); his daughter-in-law Debra; his grandchildren, Rachel Eberle (Scott), Brayden, Bransyn and Brooklyn Eberle; his daughter Barbara Krultz (Scott) of Neillsville; his grandchildren, Krista and Kaelyn Krultz; his daughter Theresa Wilson (Mark) of Middleton; his grandchildren, Joseph Wilson and Laura Wilson; his daughters, Anita Prem of Middleton and Kathy Marcou (Paul) of Madison; his pet Oscar; his siblings, Joseph F. (Karen) of Spring Green, Anthony Prem (Randeen) of Spring Green, Catherine McDonald (Lawrence) of Darlington, Martha Erickson of Wilson, Michael (Mary) of Franklin, Dorothy Gorman (David) of Janesville, Andrew (Rosemary) of Plain and William (Sandi) of Spring Green; and his close friend Elsie Kruse. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
