He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Koenig and Frieda Koenig (Thies); his wife Norene Myers; his brother John; his great grandchild Ethan Turner; and his sister-in-law Carol Myers.
He is survived by: his daughter JoEllen Koenig Schreier; his brother-in-law Harvey Myers; his nephews, David and Darrell; and his niece Audrey. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 31 great grand children and 4 great great grandchildren.
