He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Padley and Sadie Padley (Patterson); his wife Joan Padley (Olson); his son Roger Padley; his son-in-law Jim Schmitt; and his grandson Christopher Michael Lord.

He is survived by: his children, Kim Schmitt, Karen Lord (Donald), Kelly McKenna (Tim), Kerry Bollant (Mike), Richard Padley (Tina), Ronald Padley (Linda), Rory Padley (Tim) and Robert Padley (Dana); and his great great grandchild Karolina Paulson. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren.
