It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry Johnson of Lodi, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Johnson and Violet Johnson (Priem); his siblings, Eugene Fitzgerald, Helen Fitzgerald-Molter, Darlene Fitzgerald-Schmidt and Patricia Johnson-Gable; and his parents-in-law, Carl and Joan Vorlander.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Vorlander; his children, Sara Jackson, Rebecca Smith and Trevor (Shabvon); his grandchildren, Zeke, Xander Jackson, Noah, Ella, Sam Johnson, Owen and Emma Smith; his brothers, Dewey and Doug Johnson (Julie); and his siblings-in-law, Phillip Vorlander (Linda), Bruce Vorlander (Victoria), Geoff Vorlander (Jody) and Claudia Orvis (Marc).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dekorra Lutheran Church (N3099 Smith Rd, Poynette, WI 53955). The military honors was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
