With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn E. Gompert (Lodi, Wisconsin), who passed away on February 10, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Schmidt and Minnie Schmidt (Stoltenberg); her husband Kenneth Gompert; and her cousins, Ervin, Ruby Ann Schmidt, Elizabeth Reuter, Robert and Darlene Schmidt.
She is survived by: her cousins, Randy Reuter, Jody Haak-Reuter, Chelsea Reuter-Seng, John Seng, Rodney, Jennifer Reuter, Bryan and Whitney Reuter; and also, Luke, Alayna, Hunter, Ashley, Andy Lemar, Myles, Finnley, Penelope and Andrew Reuter (Holly Mcalpin). She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gunderson Lodi Funeral & Cremation Care (157 S Main St, Lodi, WI 53555). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (N1442 WI-22, Arlington, WI 53911).
