He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce; his parents, Harvey Dolson and Loza Dolson; his brother William Dolson; his parents-in-law, John Alt and Wilma Alt; his siblings-in-law, Richard Alt, Rod Alt and Betsy Alt; his granddaughters, Kassandra Dolson and Samantha Dolson; and his niece Robin Haupt.

He is survived by: his sons, Timothy Dolson (Teresa) and Daniel Dolson (Michele); his grandchildren, Jeromey (Nicole), Danielle, Cody, Harley and Zackary Dolson; his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Olivia; his siblings, Hollie Haupt and Joe Dolson (Judy); and his siblings-in-law, Lois Nordness and Paul Alt (Theresa). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
